WCCTC is one of four Regional Transportation Planning Committees (RTPCs) in Contra Costa County and represents the West Contra Costa County sub-area.
WCCTC Board meetings are usually held the 4th Friday of each month from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
WCCTC Technical Advisory Committee meetings are usually held on the 2nd Thursday of each month from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
We are saddened to share that our former colleague Joanna Pallock has passed away. Joanna retired from WCCTC at the end of 2023 after many years of dedicated public service. She was passionate about improving mobility for seniors, people with disabilities, and youth. Our thoughts are with her family, friends, and colleagues.
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of H.E. Christian (Chris) Peeples, WCCTC Commissioner and AC Transit Director, on August 8, 2025.
The West Contra Costa Transportation Advisory Committee (WCCTAC) has changed its name to West Contra Costa Transportation Commission (WCCTC) to provide greater clarity to the public and to our organizational partners.
