Mobility Management - Senior and Disabled Programs

WCCTAC's role in improving services for West County senior and disabled residents has grown over the past decade.  Today, WCCTAC allocates over half a million dollars per year to local and transit-based paratransit operators including: WestCAT, AC Transit, and the cities of San Pablo, Richmond and El Cerrito.

Depending on the home location of an elegible resident, there are numerous services available to take residents to medical appointments, grocery shopping and social visits to friends and activities.  The cities listed above each operate their own services in their cities.  To learn more about their programs, call:

To find out how to qualify for ADA paratransit service, contact East Bay Transit at 510-287-5000

There are other mobility services for senior and disabled residents, including a Volunteer Driver Program and Travel Training (assistance getting used to bus and BART).

The recently published "Way to Go Contra Costa" contains the most current information on all types of local assistance for people who do not drive.
